Strawberry Banana Kale Energy Smoothie

Smoothies can be magical. They taste delicious while simultaneously being nutritious. What ever the reason you are looking to add smoothies into your diet, I am here to help!

If you’ve ever lived a day in America, I’d wager to say you’ve been advertised a fad diet. Maybe you are a victim of the empty promises that keep you coming back time and time again.

The intricacies of modern day marketing are, quite frankly, creepy.

It’s not your fault if you think drinking tea for a week is a great path to health. When you are bombarded with these messages, it becomes difficult to deny them. Everyone is doing it. Sally lost 5 pounds last week when she was on a cleanse.

But what you don’t realize is that Sally likely lost 5 pounds of water weight. What do you think is going to happen once Sally resumes her normal eating routine? There’s a good chance that she is going to gain those 5 pounds back and possibly even more if the body decides to store extra fat for the next nutrient drought.

If you’ve ever been in Sally’s shoes, I am sure you know all too well what happens next.

Yo-yo dieting. One minute you’re on a diet, the next you have fallen off, or cheated, or quit, or decided to change your mindset and learn how to eat in a balanced, empowered way.

If you found a diet that you are vibing with, I’m happy for you! But for those who haven’t, or those who are curious, I’m here to help you learn how to eat in a balanced and empowered way.

As an all-foods-fit dietitian, I encourage you to enjoy the foods that bring you happiness. I can help you to find balance in the way you eat.

Your current eating pattern may not be your fault, but if you are unhappy with your diet, it is up to you, and only you, to change how you eat. Join the empowered eating community (for free) to sign up for my monthly newsletter. The steps may be small, but the journey will be worth it!
